With over 25 years experience, Dan's Tree and Stump Removal offers a full range of services for both residential and commercial jobs.
Dan has been working in the tree care industry, and owned his own business for over twenty five years. He started from humble beginnings watching his dad cut down trees just for the firewood so they would be warm during the winter. Dan bought his first chainsaw from the JCPenney catalog and started doing tree work out of a 1971 Ford F100 pick-up truck.
Dan became an Certified Arborist in 2012 with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). The ISA defines an arborist as a person who is trained in the art and science of planting, caring for, and maintaining individual trees. Arborists are knowledgeable about the needs of trees and are trained and equipped to provide proper care.
Proper tree care is an investment that can lead to substantial returns. Well-cared-for trees are attractive and can add considerable value to your property. Poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability. Pruning or removing trees, especially large trees, can be dangerous work. Tree work should be done only by those trained and equipped to work safely in trees.
According to the ISA (www.isa-arbor.com), "a Certified Arborist is an individual who has achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through experience and by passing a comprehensive examination developed by some of the nation’s leading experts on tree care. Certified Arborists must also continue their education to maintain their certification and adhere to a Code of Ethics. Therefore, they are more likely to be up to date on the latest techniques in arboriculture."
